We know, we know…
It’s been a long time between drinks. Our only excuse is pitiful — we have been frightfully busy. Pathetic, isn’t it?!
But despite the long break, Lee and Allan are still full of venom, bile, spite and nasty poisonous stuff. Well, Allan is (for which he is on medication); Lee is still the personification of all that is sweetness and light.
Ha! Believe that and we have a few quality Rolexes we can sell you…
In this long-awaited return to form, Lee questions the value of networking, wondering if it is more than just a useless waste of time. Allan reminds Lee that networking is more than just swapping business cards for fun and profit, but can also be about making friends.
And they both agree that there is a third reason to network, even across the blogosphere with people you are highly unlikely to ever meet… but you’ll have to listen to find out what it is.
Allan has also been listening to a new (for our ears) podcast, ‘The Manager Tools podcast’, which leads into a major discussion about when *is* the right time to discuss business when a client wants to take you out to dinner? And how long do you wait at lunch before you launch into your PowerNapkin ™ presentation?
Download 17 minutes of scintillating repartee from these two inveterate coffeeholics now, and why not subscribe to our podcast rss web feed so that you don’t miss a single chat? You can use iTunes or iPodder to listen to us.

Until next week: take care, take aspirin, take your wife out to dinner.

Hi guys,
Great to see you’re back - but the podcast doesn’t seem to be updating in my iTunes.
That’s probably my fault, but I thought I’d let you know it case it wasn’t.
Thank you for the tip about the Manager Tools podcasts. I’ve been listening to them this week and they are very informative, there’s a good rapport between the two presenters, the audio quality is great and they’re a nice, juicy length. I’ve learnt a lot from them already.
